My research project has to do with a proposal for the application of games as a tool to teach grammar, games can be a helpful resource to prove not only a communicative context but to make the students interested in learning grammar, due to the fact that the English grammar is very different for the Spanish one, our students can find learning grammar difficult and boring. This topic arises from my experience in Fase de IDA” where my students felt more exited about learning and practicing English through different games

A PROPOSAL TO USE GAMES AS A TOOL TO TEACH GRAMMAR TO NINTH GRADER STUDENTS
Abstract
The purpose of this research was to propose games as an alternative method to teach English grammar to ninth graders. This research consists of three chapters which present different aspects related to the use of games in the teaching of the English language communicatively.
The first chapter presents the problem, presents different aspect of grammar and games to express the necessity of a fusion between them in order to encourage the student to learn in a non threatening environment which is justified through a previous diagnostic in the school José Antonio Arraiz where the improvised use of games were extremely helpful to trigger the interest in the students.
The second chapter exposes the different theories which set the foundations to critical points of view related to teaching English grammar and the advantages that the correct use of games can provide under a communicative approach.
The third chapter shows the methodology of how games should be used and proposes 7 examples of games to demonstrate the variety of creating and using game
Finally this research presents the conclusion and recommendations
